Staff have started arriving! This is a very exciting time for all of us here at Camp Friendship. Just a step closer to the start of camp.
Staff are already getting to know each other and preparing for a great summer. Only village directors and program staff so far but next week the rest of the staff will be arriving and then we’ll really be going full speed ahead.
Last night everyone on camp had a little get together to really start the summer off right and so everyone got to get to know who’s who on camp. It was great fun and we had an opportunity to share some past camp stories with old and new staff.
All this week and next week our staff will be working hard on getting ready for your arrival. Preparing program and village areas, reviewing safety procedures, and even testing out the Council Fire just to make sure we still got it. We might even have some skits. I’ll try to get some photos to share with you.
Meanwhile our Program Director Sam is hard at work with the rest of the program staff planning some really exciting activities and events for this summer.
This is shaping up to be our best summer yet. So keep an eye out I have a few surprises of my own to unveil.
