Camp Friendship’s Blog

Well, I’m a little late this week but here’s a quick recap for week two.  This past week we had a much bigger group of campers and it shows.  We really got an opportunity to get down and dirty and try out tons of activities this week. 

The real highligh was the weather however.  It was a beautiful week!  Everyone got to really enjoy the pool and Friendship Lake, not to mention the zip line.  Now a little rain wont stop us from going out and enjoying the lake on our canoes and kayaks but this week we had the sunshine on our backs and it was great fun.  Just check out the photos above for a real taste of the week or visit our galleries.

Well the first week of camp 2007 has really been a blast, just check these photos out to see what we’ve been up to.  From the opening campfire to tonight’s closing campfire our counselors have been bringing out the fun for our campers this week.  Even though we’ve had rainy week it hasn’t been without fun. 

The archery range, arts & crafts, mountain boarding, and tennis, were just some of the happening activities this week.  We even had an 8 pounder caught by a camper out of the lake, you can see the excitement in his face above.  African Drumming kept the dining hall upbeat this week as well with a couple of mini concerts before meals.  Slip’n'Slide, mock olympics, and talent shows made up some fun evening activities throughout the week. 

As we near the end of week one we can’t wait for Sunday and the beginning of week two.  There’s tons of fun activities in store for all.  I’m specialy excited about the fun sunny days ahead.
