Camp Friendship is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains on 730 acres of rolling hills and scenic woods in central Virginia. Since 1966 Camp Friendship offers boys and girls, ages 6-16, an opportunity to experience the best summer possible.
The camp features 70-horse equestrian center, 18-hole golf course, lakes for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking, swimming pools, tennis courts, gymnastics center, riflery and archery ranges, sports fields, a low and high ropes course, drama and arts studios, 2 1/2 miles of river frontage on the Rivanna River for tubing and canoeing.
Increased self-esteem, making new friendships and gaining social competence, learning to work as part of a team, responsibility and building positive values are just some of the life skills gained from participating in Camp Friendship programs….and it’s fun!
Camp Friendship is accredited by the American Camp Association.
